An investment plan lets you automatically invest a set amount into the ETF of your choice, on a schedule that works for you. Once set up, it runs in the background – no manual action needed.
You can create an investment plan for any ETF on Mintos, starting from just €1, with no fees for setup or execution.
How do I create an investment plan for an ETF?
- Go to the ETF you want to create an investment plan for, and select Invest
- Select Investment plan
- Choose the amount, frequency, and execution date
- Select Review, check the details, then Confirm
Your investment plan is now active. You can create multiple investment plans for the same ETF and other ETFs.
How do I edit or cancel an investment plan?
You can edit or cancel an investment plan at any time. Active plans are listed under the Investment plans tab within the relevant ETF.
- Select Edit on the investment plan you want to change or cancel
- Update the amount, frequency, or next execution date
- Select Review, check the details, then Confirm
To cancel, select Cancel investment plan, then confirm.
What happens if my investment plan can't execute due to insufficient funds?
If you don't have enough funds in Available cash on the scheduled date, the investment plan will not execute. A new attempt will be made at the next scheduled interval of the investment plan. Your plan stays active. No action is needed unless you want to add funds manually.
What happens to my investment plan if I sell my ETF position?
If you sell part of your position, your investment plan continues unchanged.
If you sell all of your position in an ETF, all active investment plans for that ETF will be automatically cancelled. Before the sale is confirmed, you'll see a pop-up letting you know how many plans will be affected. You'll need to acknowledge this before the sale goes through.
If you later buy the same ETF again, you'll need to set up a new investment plan.
Is there a limit on how many investment plans I can create?
There's no limit on the number of investment plans per ETF or for multiple ETFs. You can create as many as you like for the same ETF, and each plan runs independently according to its own configuration.
The minimum investment amount per plan is €1.
Are there any fees for ETF investment plans?
No. Setting up and executing an investment plan for an individual ETF is completely free.
