An investment plan lets you automatically invest a set amount into the crypto ETP of your choice, on a schedule that works for you. Once set up, it runs in the background – no manual action needed.
You can create an investment plan for any crypto ETP on Mintos, starting from just €5. A fee of 0.49% or €0.99 (whichever is higher) applies to the first order of each new investment plan; after the first, recurring investments are free.
How do I create an investment plan for a crypto ETP?
- Go to the crypto ETP you want to create an investment plan for, and select Invest
- Select Investment plan
- Choose the amount, frequency, and execution date
- Select Review, check the details, then Confirm
Your investment plan is now active. You can create multiple investment plans for the same crypto ETP and other crypto ETPs.
How do I edit or cancel an investment plan?
You can edit or cancel an investment plan at any time. Active plans are listed under the Investment plans tab within the relevant crypto ETP.
- Select Edit on the investment plan you want to change or cancel
- Update the amount, frequency, or next execution date
- Select Review, check the details, then Confirm
To cancel, select Cancel investment plan, then confirm.
What happens if my investment plan can't execute due to insufficient funds?
If you don't have enough funds in Available cash on the scheduled date, the investment plan will not execute. A new attempt will be made at the next scheduled interval. Your plan stays active — no action is needed unless you want to add funds manually.
What happens to my investment plan if I sell my crypto ETP position?
If you sell part of your position, your investment plan continues unchanged.
If you sell all of your position in a crypto ETP, all active investment plans for that crypto ETP will be automatically cancelled. Before the sale is confirmed, you'll see a pop-up letting you know how many plans will be affected. You'll need to acknowledge this before the sale goes through.
If you later buy the same crypto ETP again, you'll need to set up a new investment plan.
Is there a limit on how many investment plans I can create?
There's no limit on the number of investment plans per crypto ETP or for multiple crypto ETPs. You can create as many as you like for the same crypto ETP, and each plan runs independently according to its own configuration.
The minimum investment amount per plan is €5.
Are there any fees for crypto ETP investment plans?
A fee of 0.49% or €0.99 (whichever is higher) applies to the first order of each new investment plan. After that, all recurring executions within the same plan are free.
A few things worth knowing:
- The fee applies per plan, so if you create multiple plans for the same crypto ETP, each plan's first order is charged separately
- If you cancel a plan and create a new one, the fee applies again to the first order of the new plan
- If you sell all of your position and set up a new plan later, the fee applies to the first order of that new plan too
