Core Loans portfolio replaced the Mintos Core and previously Diversified portfolio in December 2022, when the other two Mintos portfolios, Conservative and High-yield, were discontinued. While investors who joined Mintos before this date can still invest using legacy portfolios, their performance may be limited. These portfolios are designed to invest in both the Primary and Secondary Markets. This setup allows for investments below the standard minimum of 50 EUR on the Primary Market. The main purposes are:
- To enhance diversification
- To facilitate cash-outs from other investors
When an investor withdraws funds from a Core Loans, Conservative, or High Yield portfolio, the system automatically sells these investments to other investors within the same portfolio, subject to secondary market conditions (as the minimum investment on the Secondary Market is 1 EUR).
In your account statements, your Core Loans portfolio investments will have the following entries:
- Investments: Investments made by your portfolio in the primary market
- Secondary market transaction: Investments under 50 EUR made on the secondary market
