If you invest through Custom Loans portfolios or hold manual loan investments, you can sell eligible investments on the Secondary Market, where investors buy and sell existing positions with each other before they reach maturity. The minimum amount to sell is €1, and a 0.85% fee applies to every sale.
How to sell
- Go to Loans page
- Open Current investments
- Click Sell next to the investment you want to sell, or Sell all to list all investments from the selected page
- Enter the amount you want to sell
- Click Continue
- Choose a sale price: At par / At a discount / At a premium, and click Review
- Click Confirm to finalize your listing
Once another investor purchases your investment, the funds will appear in your available cash.
How to remove a listing
- Go to Loans page
- Open Current investments
- Select the investment
- Click the Remove from sale icon on the right
What to keep in mind
- Only investments with a positive yield-to-maturity (YTM), the return a buyer would earn by holding the investment until it matures, can be listed. Some late loans may require a discount to qualify.
- Late, overdue, or investments from suspended or defaulted lending companies cannot be listed.
- Only investments in Notes are eligible.
