A new way to build your ETF portfolio on Mintos has arrived – choose from over 1,000 ETFs from established providers, free to buy and sell.
Now you can pick ETFs yourself, stick with the automated Core ETFs portfolio, or do both – it's up to you.
Key benefits of newly available ETFs:
- Free to buy or sell: Fee free on buy or sell order, and no custody or inactivity fees either, meaning more of your investment makes it into your ETFs.*
- Over 1,000 ETFs: Access popular ETFs amongst European investors, from globally recognized providers and the funds you already know.
- Start from €1: Start investing with small amounts, as often as you like, without transaction fees eating into them.
- Invest your way: Hand-pick ETFs for full control, let the automated Core ETFs portfolio do the work, or combine both in the same account.
- Your complete portfolio, one place: Your ETFs sit alongside loans, bonds, real estate, crypto ETPs, and Smart Cash. Mintos is the only platform in Europe where you can invest across all of these in a single account.
*Each ETF carries its own annual fund fee (Total Expense Ratio), which is deducted from the fund's performance rather than charged separately.
Are ETFs for me?
The new selection of ETFs are designed for investors who want to choose their own funds and take more control over their portfolio. If you already know which ETFs you want, you can build the portfolio you're after. And if you'd rather keep things hands-off, the fully automated Core ETFs portfolio is still here. You can use either, or both.
How do I get started?
- Once signed into your Mintos account, navigate to ‘Invest’ and select ‘Explore’ from the ETFs section.
- Browse, search, or filter from the list of available ETFs and select the one you want to invest in.
- Review the ETF details, then enter the amount you'd like to invest – starting from €1.
- Confirm your order to buy.
- That's it – your ETF investment is live.
How do I manage my ETF investments?
- You can monitor and manage your ETFs by navigating to the ‘ETFs’ area within the ‘Portfolio’ section once signed in.
- Here you can view details such as how much you've invested, your holdings, and your returns.
- You can buy more or sell any of your ETFs at any time, with no transaction fee either way.
How do I sell?
- To sell, navigate to the ETF you'd like to sell within your portfolio and select ‘Sell’.
- Enter how much you'd like to sell and confirm. The proceeds go to your available cash once processed.
What ETFs can I choose from?
- Mintos gives you access to over 1,000 ETFs from established providers.
- Every ETF is UCITS compliant – an EU regulatory framework designed to protect retail investors through strict diversification and transparency requirements.
- You'll recognize the providers: these are globally established names, giving you exposure to diversified portfolios of companies and assets around the world and include iShares, Vanguard. VanEck, Amundi and other notable issuers.
How is this different from the Mintos Core ETFs portfolio?
- ETFs are individually selected: you choose the funds, the amounts, and when to buy or sell.
- The Mintos Core ETFs portfolio is fully automated – it builds and rebalances a portfolio across stocks and bonds for you, configurable to your risk tolerance, from €50.
- Both carry a zero management fee, and you can use them together in the same account.
How much are the fees?
- There are no transaction fees to buy or sell, and no custody or inactivity fees for holding your ETFs.This applies to both ETFs and the Mintos Core ETFs portfolio. However, each ETF carries its own annual fund fee (Total Expense Ratio), which is deducted from the fund's performance rather than charged separately.
