1. Why is the Iute Group rebuying loans?
Iute Group is repurchasing a portion of the loans backed Notes on Mintos as part of refinancing its existing debt. Early repurchases like this are a common and normal part of the refinancing process for lending companies. For more details, see the Iute Group's official announcement here.
2. What does this mean for my current investments?
The company will repurchase a portion of the loans that back Notes investments in your portfolio.
You will receive all remaining principal plus any accrued interest up to the repurchase date.
3. When will the rebuy take place?
Your investments in Notes backed by Iute Group loans might be repaid early from June 11th. If repurchased, you'll receive your full principal plus interest for every day your funds were invested, calculated up to the repurchase date. Once completed, you’ll see the corresponding transactions reflected in your account statement.
4. How will I receive my funds?
The proceeds from the rebuy (principal + accrued interest) will be credited directly to your Mintos account.
5. Will I lose any expected future returns?
You will receive all returns earned up to the rebuy date. However, since loans will be closed early, you will not receive interest for future periods beyond that date.
6. How will automated portfolios be affected?
If your portfolio (Custom Loans or previously Custom Automated Strategy) includes Iute—either alongside other lending companies or as the sole company—its share might not be fully covered due to limited available investments. As a result, your portfolio may not be able to invest all available funds. We recommend reviewing your automated strategies and making the needed adjustments to keep your investments active and well-balanced.
7. Do I need to take any action?
No action is required from your side. The rebuy will be handled automatically, and all proceeds will be credited to your account.
8. What happens to my account after the rebuy?
After the rebuy, the funds from the repurchased loans will be returned to your Mintos account balance. As a result, part of your portfolio may no longer be invested and might need to be re-adjusted to align with your investment goals and risk preferences.
Your historical data and account statements will remain available for download. We recommend monitoring your account balance and reinvesting any returned funds if you wish to maintain your target level of investment and diversification. 9. Will the company continue offering investments in loans?
We continue to maintain a strong relationship with Iute Group and look forward to more investment opportunities with them in the future.
