Regardless of their citizenship status, individuals residing or paying taxes in the UK cannot register or invest on the platform.
To Whom Does It Apply?
- UK Passport Holders Residing in the UK – UK nationals who live in the UK or pay taxes in the UK are not eligible to onboard with Mintos.
- Non-UK Passport Holders Residing in the UK – Even if an individual holds a non-UK passport, they are still restricted from registering or investing on Mintos if they reside and pay taxes in the UK.
Exception for UK Nationals Residing in the EU
UK nationals who can provide valid proof of residence in one of the European Union (EU)/European Economic Area (EEA) countries or Switzerland are eligible to register and invest on the Mintos platform. This exception ensures that UK citizens who have relocated to the EU and meet the necessary residence requirements can still access investment opportunities through the platform.
