To withdraw everything from Mintos, it helps to know that your funds sit in three places:
- Available cash: funds not tied to any product. This can be withdrawn to your bank account at any time.
- Portfolio cash: cash sitting inside a product portfolio where repayments from your investments (interest and principal from loans and bonds) collect here, along with any funds you've added but not yet invested. Portfolio cash isn't withdrawable directly. You can always cash out your portfolio cash to your available balance.
- Invested funds: funds currently invested in Loans, Bonds, ETFs, Real Estate, Smart Cash, or Crypto. These need to be sold first; once the sale settles, the proceeds are added to your available cash. Keep in mind that overdue funds cannot be sold.
Step 1: Sell your investments
The steps to sell differ by asset type and strategy, and how quickly you can access your funds depends on what you hold. Some assets offer instant liquidity; others require a buyer to be found first. Sale proceeds are added to your available cash once they settle.
Step 2: Move your portfolio cash
Any cash still sitting inside your portfolios where accumulated repayments or uninvested funds need to be moved to your available cash. Go to the product page and use the portfolio's Cash out.
Step 3: Withdraw your available cash
Once your investments are sold and your portfolio cash is cashed out, everything sits in your available cash and can be transferred to your registered bank account.
