If you hold ETFs you purchased individually, not through the Core ETF portfolio, you can sell them directly at market price, with no fees.
How it works
When you place a sell order, Mintos executes it on the exchange at the current market price. Orders are filled during trading hours; if you place one while the market is closed, it executes once trading resumes.
How to sell
- Go to your ETF page
- Click … then Sell next to the ETF you want to sell
- Enter the number of shares to sell, or click Sell max to sell your entire position
- Click Review, check the details, then click Confirm
Once confirmed, your ETF is sold at market price and the proceeds are added to your available cash within 3 business days. You can then reinvest them or withdraw them to your bank account.
What to keep in mind
- The estimated value shown may change slightly by the time your order executes, since ETF prices move continuously during market hours.
- If the market is closed when you place your order, it executes once trading resumes.
