A mistrade can only be reviewed (examined by the exchange to confirm if it's an error) and, if applicable, cancelled or adjusted before the transaction settles. This is only possible where the exchange’s rules, applicable law, and the terms and conditions allow it. Once a transaction has settled, or once the trade confirmation has been delivered, it can no longer be cancelled or amended.
The decision to classify a transaction as a mistrade, as well as any decision to cancel or adjust it, is made solely by the exchange where the trade took place (and, where applicable, its supervisory authority). Mintos has no influence over this decision.
The timing and possibility of identifying a mistrade depend entirely on the rules and procedures of the relevant exchange and are outside Mintos’ control.
