Mintos Community is part of the Mintos marketplace. It’s a space dedicated to conversation about investing in loans.
At Mintos, we are proud of being a meeting point for a diverse group of retail investors that come from more than 100 countries. We truly appreciate the proactive community of our investors, people eager to share their experiences about investing in loans on our marketplace, their views about our products and services, and more. To have all this valuable information in one place and to better structure access to all-things Mintos, we created a forum for conversations. Dear investors, welcome to the Mintos Community forum.
As does any other diverse community, the Mintos Community forum also has its guidelines that participants in the conversations should respect. Get to know the Mintos Moderation Guidelines.
How to participate in the Community conversations?
Anyone can access the Mintos Community. We will work to make this a resourceful space that will offer support for Mintos-related topics, but also insights about investing in loans, industry news, investment trends, and a view on different ideas and opinions of fellow investors.
If you wish to actively join the conversation - to ask a question or to share your opinion in the form of a post or a comment, you will need to sign up into the Mintos Community and create your Mintos Community credentials:
- Click Sign Up* and enter your name and email address. We suggest you use the same email that you use for logging into your Mintos account.
- After submitting your name and email, you will receive an email with your password code to finalize your signup.
*Investors who have recently reached out to Mintos Investor Service or are part of our crowdfunding investors group from the recent crowdfunding round, please, click Get Password after clicking the Sign Up button and follow the process. It is required due to Mintos registering each Mintos investor reaching out to us in a GDPR compliant way, hence we already have your details, yet need you to verify your identity by confirming your password.
Please note, Mintos Community and the Mintos marketplace are two separate spaces, therefore, while you might use the same email address for the login, we suggest setting up a different password for security purposes.
Who can post in the Mintos Community?
Investors who have sing-in into Community and participants from the Mintos team.
Do you need to use your name and surname on Community?
You can use your name, surname, or also - you can set up an alias. Alias is like a nickname you can choose yourself. To create a new or edit existing alias, please go to your profile on Community and click Edit. You will see you can adit the alias space. Your alias is used in place of your name when you create community posts. If you add, change, or remove an alias, all your historical posts and comments are updated too.
How can I ask Mintos something?
If you wish to ask Mintos something or involve us in a discussion, please tag us by using @ mintos. There might be discussions among investors or investors sharing opinions as a comment, and sometimes our involvement is not needed. We do follow the conversations and hear your wishes when it comes to new ideas or suggestions, yet to be sure that we get involved if our input is needed - do tag us.
How do I search the Community?
To navigate through the content in the Mintos Community, use the search bar: on the front page, within the topic, or on the specific post that you have opened. The search runs also through our Help pages, extending the possible solutions for your inquiry.
There are a number of detailed methods that can help you finds exactly what you are looking for.
Find multiple words: Use double quotes (") around each word to find content that contains all those words.
For example, "article" "title" "section" "author" retrieves content that contains all four words, in any order. Make sure you put spaces between the search words, otherwise the search handles the text as one string.
Note: If you use single quotes (') around a word, the single quotes are ignored. If you search for 'article' 'title' 'section' 'author', you'll see hits for all content that contains any of the words title or article or section or author(exactly as if you had searched without the single quotes).
Find a phrase: Use double quotes (") around a phrase to find content that contains all the words in that phrase.
Notes: If you use single quotes (') around a phrase, the single quotes are ignored.
- Exclude results containing certain words: Use the minus operator (-) in front of the search term to find every article or post that does not include that word or phrase.
