You can cash out from Smart Cash on any business day, with no fees or penalties.
How to cash out
- Go to your Smart Cash page
- Click Cash out
- Enter the amount you want to cash out
- Click Confirm to finalize your cash out
What to keep in mind
- In most cases, funds are available in your account as cash the same day.
- In some cases, they may arrive the next business day, since cashing out is technically a sell order for money market fund shares, a fund investing in low-risk, short-term debt. If fund settlement takes longer, the money won't arrive the same day.
Once the funds are in your available cash, you can withdraw them to your bank account.
