The Primary Market is where you buy new investments when they’re first offered on Mintos, directly from the company issuing them, rather than from another investor.
You can invest through the Primary Market in:
- Loans: lending companies offer investment opportunities in loans in the form of Notes.
- Bonds: companies issue bonds, and you can invest in fractions of them.
- Real estate: you invest in fractions of rental residential properties in the form of Notes.

ETFs, stocks, crypto ETPs, and Smart Cash are not offered through the Primary Market. ETFs, stocks, and crypto ETPs are bought and sold through stock exchanges, and Smart Cash invests your money in a money market fund.
