Funds in Recovery AMA - do you like the format?
What is your take on our calls we are hosting with Janis, Head of Partnership and Dmitry, Head of Debt Collection? Here is the recording of the latest session.
We are thinking if the current format - monthly update of the information on our website on funds in recovery and quarterly calls with Janis and Dmitry - is the best format and should we maybe switch to written updates only?
We see that during the call the participants' number is quite low, and the viewership rate is around 5k. While we care to make sure the information reaches every single investor to whom it is important, be it 1 or 5 or 5k or 50k investors, we are also thinking if maybe some other formats are more convenient for you?
Please let us know in the comments. Or vote Thumb Up to continue the calls and Thumb Down to go on with written updates only.
Thank you!

I would prefer written updates. They are much easier to consume and allow to seach for specific information.

Thanks Y for the feedback. We'll wait to see what other opinions are out there too and let you and other investors know if and how we possibly update the format.

The AMA format might not be the most efficient way to communicate information, but it shows a level of transparency and commitment.
Not entirely on-topic but I would suggest labeling the funds from recovery differently in the account statement so that they are recognizable as such. Also I would like to see the recovery funds deducted from the account statement and NAR based on expected recovery.. if not for tax reasons then at least for some peace of mind.

I love the monthly written updates as you can easily find information back. I do also like the AMA format as questions from investors can be asked, and especially when split out per LO, it gives a good chance to ask various questions (and not only "Varks when?" comments). The downside of video formats is that you need to sit and watch it (or listen to it) while with text you can easily skip to the part you are interested in, and glance over the rest of the text.
The updates on debt collecting processes are interesting to see - I personally would like to see more details, but also understand that many of those are part of confidential negotiations between the various involved parties. And making those public can have additional (negative) effects for the collection processes.

Many thanks, Folkert and Japke for the feedback! We are on the same page about the video format being more transparent and human, if you like - seeing the people behind the process. Yet at the same time, we all know how saturated is online now and we are in a sort of competition with all other videos for your attention, and might be that written updates are more convenient.
We are not changing anything just yet, and continue to welcome more feedback.

Personally I enjoy the level of clarity provided in the Video updates. If however you go to the papaer only version it would be better to have a greater explanation per each company / recovery situation. Obviously the numbers are interesting but the background is highly appreciated. For example: the explanation re Ukraine and banking controls making it extremely difficult to move money out of the country´due to finance ministry public servants installed in all banks was well explained in the video but on paper this obstacle isnt so apparent.

Angus thank you for the feedback!

It's otherwise good but info provided there should also be included in the monthly recovery update. Otherwise finding all available information at once becomes too difficult.
