Easy Debt Service (EDS) — any news since the 6 August update?
The last official Mintos update regarding Easy Debt Service (EDS) was on 6 August 2026, when Mintos stated that the additional EUR 200,000 payment expected from EDS in July had still not been received and that Mintos had contacted EDS to clarify the reason for the delay and the expected payment date.
It has now been four weeks since that update, and there has been no further official update regarding EDS.
Given that several EDS bonds have already passed their maturity dates and Event of Default Notices have been issued, I think it would be useful to clarify the current situation.
Does anyone have any more recent information from Mintos or EDS?
In particular, I would be interested to know:
- Has the real estate sale actually been completed, or is the transaction still pending?
- How much of the expected EUR 10.5–11 million proceeds from the property sale has EDS actually received so far?
- Is there currently a new expected date for receiving the remaining proceeds?
- How much principal is currently outstanding across the EDS bonds that have already matured but remain unpaid?
- Given the repeated delays and the Event of Default Notices, is Mintos currently expecting full repayment, or is a restructuring / maturity extension becoming a likely scenario?
- What is the contingency plan if the property sale is delayed further or does not close?
I would particularly appreciate some concrete figures and dates. Thank you!

Good morning.
The last payment was due on the 28th. I believe EDS has 10 business days to pay it off, which is why we haven't heard anything yet.
What I have been able to find out is that they haven't published their accounts for 12 months and are completely out of the running. All we can do is hope that Mintos actually saw that pre-sale agreement. Keep in mind that banks and employees get paid first, and then we get paid if a judge decides to take this action.0 -
Sergej,
Dear Sergej,
I, too, am in a terrible bind—with very large sums of money tied up—due to the Nera Capital default and EDS bonds. The day before yesterday, I wrote to Mintos support asking for updates on EDS. I received a useless, boilerplate response, just like the one from August 6th. There seems to be no way out of these disastrous situations. Mintos offers no guarantees. I suggest you formalize a complaint listing all your questions so that you have a written record to use for an appeal to banking authorities—perhaps a joint one. Count me in. We’ve been unlucky; these lenders lured us in with bonuses, cashback, and sky-high interest rates. The real question is whether Mintos conducted robust, rigorous due diligence before accepting these entities onto the platform, and whether their periodic checks were sufficient to ensure the safety of us investors. Let’s keep each other posted. Best regards.0
