How much money did Mintos spend on the brand redesign?
Hi all, am curious if anyone knows how much money was spent on the redesign? It appears like a vanity move, and not exactly going to deliver value?
I am curious on how everybody else thinks about it...

Hi Satpal Singh Nijjar
Thanks for raising this and sharing your thoughts. To clarify, the redesign was done entirely in-house by the Mintos team. We did not involve external agencies or consultants, which means no additional third-party costs were incurred.
It’s important to stress that this was not a vanity move. For a long time, Mintos lacked a unified and consistent design approach — both in our marketing presence and in the user experience within the platform itself. This inconsistency created friction for new users and diluted trust, as different touchpoints often felt disconnected. The redesign was about addressing this gap, creating a solid and consistent foundation that allows us to build with clarity and purpose going forward.
While some of these changes may feel subtle or even unnecessary to long-time users, the value unfolds over time. A consistent visual and experience framework supports easier navigation, reduces confusion, and ensures that new features or communications integrate seamlessly. For a platform focused on long-term investing, presenting ourselves with clarity, professionalism, and trustworthiness is essential.
Visual identity refinement is also not a one-off project; it’s an ongoing process. What we’ve delivered now is a foundation — a system of design principles and standards that will evolve together with Mintos. This means we can iterate faster, maintain higher quality, and focus more on enhancing usability and product improvements without reinventing the wheel each time.
In short, this redesign lays the groundwork for a stronger, clearer Mintos — one that serves both new and existing investors better in the long run. We appreciate your feedback and hope you’ll continue to experience the benefits as the platform evolves.0 -
"a system of design principles and standards that will evolve together with Mintos. This means we can iterate faster, maintain higher quality, and focus more on enhancing usability and product improvements without reinventing the wheel each time", come on you know this is fooling talk Lucja (Mintos)
You have used a cosmetic change in the website design to subtily eliminate the only columns that gave investors some sort of control in this vague area of pending and overdue status of loans and it definitely jeopardizes mintos credibility.

Hi Ugo
Thank you for sharing your feedback! Just to clarify, the information about pending and overdue payments is still available in the Loans section dashboard. You can see the updates by clicking on the arrows under “Pending Payment” or “Overdue”.The arrows were also there before, but they’ve changed from blue to green as part of our recent brand redesign. It’s only a visual update, all the data and functionality remain the same.
Hope this helps clear things up!

@ Lucja, I am afraid (or hope) you miss my point. On the overall investment page , Mintos disappeared two important colums whilst giving the website a cosmetic make over. These columns were showing the repayment date and repayment amount . An easy way to follow the trustworthiness of repayments by different creditters (and Mintos) and amounts you might expect to come in the month or any other period.
The column ‘next payment date’ has been discussed several times by others in the community, as it contributes to the necessary transparency. There has been several times a request to offer the possibility to organise this column by date of repayment. A real website improvement people are waiting for. You can also find dates and amounts in detail in each individual loan but that is a shit load of work if you have several hundreds of loans. And the way Mintos is shifting amounts from pending to overdue and vice versa (as you show above) gives investors no grip at all.Somehow I have the feeling that Mintos does not want to know their clients about the exact status of their loans, as Mintos never came back on the issue of bringing back the columns. It can have a predictive value if data is not redeemed and can warn investors against future defaults .So this is not good. And now I am still really friendly.

Obvious that I did not get an answer on the above . Somehow Mintos only respond with enthousiasm to naive beginners questions. Critilcal attitude and questions are not appreciated. Looking more and more like a Kim jung Un website. Let's try another one: where are you hiding the overall statistics nowadays. They used to be easily accesible but somehow I have the idea you don't like customers to have a view at all the defaults.

Hi Ugo
Regarding your feedback, you are right that the next payment date and repayment amount columns made it easier to track repayment flow. We understand these overviews were valuable tools for many investors, and we’re actively exploring ways to bring this information back in a clear and reliable format.
We’d also love to better understand how you used the previous Statistics page, which specific data points or views were most important to you? Your input will help us shape future updates and ensure we better meet investors' expectations for visibility and control over your investments. For detailed insights on lending company performance, defaults, and statistics, please visit: https://www.mintos.com/en/lending-companies/#loans-performance - this page serves as a central hub for transparency and up-to-date data about each lending company.0 -
Thank you @Lucja for this constructive answer. Waiting for the columns to return. About overall statistics it is interesting to see which kind of loans have more or lesser cashdrag. It can be a guide in making investments decissions. Besides it is helpful to interpret the degree of control and ability Mintos has to recover defaulted loans. I bookmarked the link as I cannot find it when I do standard log in.
