Property appreciation and secondary market
I would like to understand if Mintos has any plan on updating property valuation in the future. The problem I see is this: Let's say I invest 100 EUR today in a property and in 10 years I choose to sell it on the secondary market and set the price to 110 EUR. The secondary market would show that as charging 10% premium on the property value. However, that would be very inaccurate, as the valuation then would probably be much higher than that, and I would actually be selling on a discount.

Hi Clifford Farrugia
Thank you for bringing this important point to our attention. You're right, without periodic updates to property valuations, secondary market pricing can appear misleading over time, especially in cases of long-term appreciation. We do plan to showcase the appreciation of real estate assets on Mintos. A revaluation is required at least once every two years, and we recognize the importance of reflecting this updated information for investors, particularly on the secondary market.Currently, the implementation of this feature depends on available resources within our Product team. Once those resources are in place, development will begin to ensure that real estate valuations are updated and transparently displayed. We appreciate your feedback and your engagement with the platform.
