How does Mintos Community work?
The Mintos Community is a part of the Mintos platform, dedicated to conversations about investing on Mintos.
At Mintos, we are proud of being a meeting point for a diverse group of retail investors. We truly appreciate the proactive community of our investors, people eager to share their experiences about investing, their views about our products and services, and more. To have all this valuable information in one place and to better structure access to all things Mintos, we created the Mintos Community forum.
As with any other diverse community, the Mintos Community forum also has its guidelines that participants in the conversations should respect.
How can I participate in the Community conversations?
Anyone can access the Mintos Community. If you want to actively join the conversation, such as to ask a question or to share your opinion in the form of a post or a comment, you’ll first have to create your Mintos Community account:
- Click Sign Up* and enter your name and email address. We suggest you use the same email that you use for logging into your Mintos account.
- After submitting your name and email, you’ll receive an email with your password to complete your signup.
*Investors who have recently reached out to Mintos Investor Service or are part of our crowdfunding investors group from the recent crowdfunding round, please, click Get Password after clicking the Sign Up button and follow the process. Even if we already have your details, you still have to verify your identity by confirming your password so that you can be registered in a GDPR-compliant way,
Please note that the Mintos Community and the Mintos platform are two separate spaces. While you can certainly use the same email address for both, we encourage you to use different passwords for security purposes.
Who can post in the Mintos Community?
Investors who have signed into the Community and participants from the Mintos team.
Do you need to use your real name in the Community?
You can use your real name or set up an alias. To create a new alias or change an existing one, go to your profile on Community and click Edit. Your alias is used in place of your name when you create community posts. If you add, change, or remove an alias, all your historical posts and comments are updated too.
How can I ask Mintos something?
If you want to ask Mintos a question or involve us in a discussion, please tag us by using @mintos.
How can I search the Community?
To search the content in the Mintos Community, use the search bar on the front page, in the topic, or on the specific post that you have opened. The search also runs through our Help pages, extending the possible solutions for your inquiry.
There are a number of detailed methods that can help you find exactly what you are looking for.
-
Find multiple words: Use double quotes (") around each word to find content that contains all those words.
For example, "article" "title" "section" and "author" retrieve content that contains all four words, in any order. Make sure you put spaces between the search words, otherwise the search handles the text as one string.
Note: If you use single quotes (') around a word, the single quotes are ignored. If you search for 'article' 'title' 'section' 'author', you'll see hits for all content that contains any of the words title or article or section or author (exactly as if you had searched without the single quotes). -
Find a phrase: Use double quotes (") around a phrase to find content that contains all the words in that phrase.
Notes: If you use single quotes (') around a phrase, the single quotes are ignored. - Exclude results containing certain words: Use the minus operator (-) in front of the search term to find every article or post that does not include that word or phrase.
How can I propose ideas for the Mintos Community space?
If you'd like to share ideas or initiatives to help us shape the Mintos Community space, please leave your comment under this post. Thanks!

Hi Dennis! In our communication about the Community launch, we mentioned that investors who have a different email address for Crowdcube and different email address for Community need to separately approach us as access is enabled to those email addresses which are in the Crowdcube`s data base. That was your case. I already enabled you access and you should be able to access this section now.

Hi! There is awful lot of empty space on a community front page. Maybe you could consider making the page more compact and easier to grasp without scrolling. Thanks!

Hi Tarmo Yes - it does require one scroll to see all topics, yet we like the "lightness" of it thanks to all topics not being cramped up. We also looked that the majority of community spaces behaviors show that people first tend to look for something specific, so the search functionality always prevails and is on top. But we also understand that this might be subjective based on each individual preferences - like yours, thank you for your feedback.
